Destiny

Following the drama of the African savannah. A young hyena loses her mother in a terrifying attack by some rogue male lions and has to assume the leadership of her family.

Conflict

As the Serengeti starts to dry out, competition hots up between the families of lions, cheetahs, baboons, elephants, ostriches and hyenas.

Invasion

The incredible anticipation of the annual great migration is being felt by all of the Serengeti's families as they wait with desperation for it to arrive. The land continues to get hotter and hunger start to bite as food becomes ever more scarce.

Misfortune

The long-awaited arrival of the Great Migration brings opportunities and food in abundance but it also increases conflict as every one of the Serengeti’s families is put to the test.

Exodus

The dry season is upon the animals of the Serengeti, the toughest time for some but a bonanza for others. The drought turns the waterhole into a death trap for the herds, but for the lions it’s a gift.

Rebirth

It's the end of an extraordinary year for the animals of the Serengeti. In the aftermath of a huge fire, which families made it through alive?

Intrigue

As our characters bring new life into peaceful times, a great storm is building which will transform the newborns' welcoming world into a wet, cold nightmare. They have been born into an unpredictable world, with an unknown future.

Change

In the aftermath of the storm, the vast landscape is flooded. Everyone is on the move, heading for higher ground, but the flood waters bring danger and our characters experience the terrifying ordeal of being washed away.

Renewal

As the land recovers from the floods, food becomes the main focus. But whilst the young learn to hunt, families are divided, and losses are mourned.

Leadership

As tensions rise, it’s a dangerous time to be born. Old enemies cause trouble for the lions and baboons, while the hyenas make life hard for the jackals and the leopard cubs.

Power

Power is shifting among the animal families as new threats emerge. As their young grow and everyone fights to survive, who will be the winners, and who will be losers?

Reckoning

As everyone faces the final reckoning, the Great River Crossing begins. Gnu and Shani’s foal are tested by crocodiles. Duma must save his mother. Does Kali find happiness at last?
